My name is Barbara Fresquez. I've owned and operated Indian Hills Preschool/Daycare for over 40 years and enjoyed every minute of it! I'm the proud mother of two (who grew up in the childcare) and "Grammy" to four. I was one of the 5 founding members of the CHILD (Caring Homes Involved in Loving Daycare) Association in 1986 which was formed to meet the needs of Albany County licensed home childcare providers and assist the community in finding quality childcare. I've held each office many times and like to partner with other programs promoting early care education throughout the state. I truly believe that " a good childcare setting respects children, parents and caregivers, has open and ongoing communication, and a shared plan for the well being of children". My focus now is to provide a quality preschool experience for children to prepare them for a positive school transition.
